Homemade is always healthier than canned
Once you have tasted homemade cranberry sauce, there is no going back to the canned stuff. This way you can cut down on the white sugar and also consume clean, fresh cranberry sauce without BPA contamination.
Almost all canned food containers are lined with an epoxy-based material, which is normally made with BPA, and it leaches into the food stored in these contains. I highly recommend not consuming any canned food for that reason.
Cranberry sauce is full of Vitamin C, and gives you a fair amount of dietary fiber and manganese.
