Healthy Calories
Here is a special treat for the winter season, and for those needing some healthy calories in their diet. Like pregnant women and growing children for example. But of course there is always a good reason to consume some healthy homemade mayonnaise for anyone.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup duck fat, soft at room temperature
- 1 Tbs. apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. mustard
- 1 egg yolks or more if you like
- 1 whole egg
- salt to taste
Directions:
Mix all the ingredients, transfer into a glass jar and blend with a stick blender until its thick and creamy. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
